Telegram revokes inactive names

In the last couple of days, Telegram has revoked the public addresses of hundreds of public chats without warning their owners.

In the most of the cases, the affected chats where those which had no content, or no content for over a year.

A close source to Telegram reported that this is a common practice, and that it won't be possible to reoccupy the revoked addresses for a while.

Furthermore, according to the same source, there are plans to reform the public usernames system.

💢The new edition and future editions of Tiraxtur Fc won't be published in Cafe Bazaar anymore

After sending 5 versions of the application for approval, Cafe Bazaar rejected the Tiraxtur FC application several times for unprofessional reasons and requested correction.

Reasons such as: "Don't use other Android stores except of Cafe Bazaar in the app", "Using Cafe Bazaar in-app payment for in-app payments (to receive tax from the developer and buyer)" and etc.

However, it was decided that this application will be present in famous Iranian stores and new versions will not be received from Cafe Bazaar.

This is while the installation of users through Myket is about 7 times the installation from Cafe Bazaar.

Tiraxtur FC will be present again on Google Play and soon it will be available in other Android stores.

Reactions without limits, emoji statuses and more

Telegram for Android, iOS and macOS, as well as the Unigram client, have been updated to version 9.0. Telegram Desktop has been updated to version 4.2.

Limitless Reactions
• All users had dozens of new reactions, including those that previously could only be sent with a Telegram Premium subscription.
• An updated menu for choosing reactions can be opened — to make it easier to view many new emoji.
• The reactions you use most often are automatically moved to the top of the list.
• Premium subscribers will now be able to use any of the thousands of custom emoji as reactions.
• Premium users can now send up to 3 reactions per message.
• Updated reactions menu works only in private chats and groups.
• Group admins can choose whether custom kits are available as reactions in their community.

Emoji Profile Statuses
• Users with a Telegram Premium subscription can set an animated status emoji next to their name.
• Status will show what mood the user is in or what they are doing.
• You can set one of seven default statuses that change color depending on the Telegram theme, — or choose from an endless variety of custom emojis.
• To set your status, click on your Premium icon above your chat list or go to Settings.
• If you want to turn on the status for a certain period of time, press and hold the selected emoji.

Sign-in improvements
• Users who often log out of the Telegram application and log in again will now be able to receive authorization codes not in SMS, but by e-mail.
• An alternative is to use the — «Sign in with Apple» or «Sign in with Google» feature.
• Improved registration and login process on iOS devices: users are greeted with an updated interface and smooth animations similar to the Android client.

New links to user profiles
• Now a new unique link format is available in Telegram — username.t.me.
• The novelty is intended for those who want to emphasize the username (or prefer not to look for the symbol / on the keyboard).

Customizing the Boot Order on Android
• Users can now reorder downloads in the download manager by raising or lowering their priority.
